Frequently Asked Questions

Not too sure about IV Vitamins and Hydration, maybe these frequently asked questions can help!

How long does IV Therapy take?
Your appointment, start to finish, can vary from 1 hr -1 1/2hrs. There are intake forms to complete and then once IV is started the actual drip will take about 45min-1hr. The fastest we are able to infuse a drip is 30 minutes.
What is IV Therapy?
IV therapy is a method to quickly administer fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into the blood stream. During oral consumption of fluids, vitamins, and minerals many of it is lost in the tissue or not absorbed at all. By going directly into the blood stream, your body can absorb 100% of the vitamins. We help supplement your normal consumption of these vital vitamins, minerals, and fluids, not replace them.
Is IV hydration safe?
All of our vitamins are FDA approved and go through high levels of testing. All IVs are administered by a registered nurse and performed with the approval of a medical supervisor. Prior to receiving therapy, a medical history is completed.

Side effects from IV therapy are generally non-existent or very mild. On occasion, you may experience some discomfort, bruising, itching, inflammation, or redness at or around the sire of injection, this could last from a few minutes to several days. True allergic reactions are rare.
How does an IV Therapy Appointment work?
After arriving, your vital signs will be obtained. As long as your vital signs are normal, you will proceed by completing your medical history. After discussion with our nurse, you will choose either a custom drip or one we have already created. Then you will sign consent for the drip you're receiving. You will need to complete a consent every time you receive a drip, but your health history will only need to be completed every 6 months as long as there no major medical changes.

During therapy, the nurse inserts an IV line which is attached to a bag of saline solution. The bag is then hung above the patient's head to allow gravity to drip the therapy directly into your bloodstream.

What are the benefits of IV Therapy?
IV therapy is one of the most effective ways to deliver nutrients, vitamins, and fluids to your body. This technique bypasses your digestive system and is administered directly into your bloodstream. Your body will determine how deficient you are in certain nutrients, and will eliminate any excess, making over-supplementation rare.

Elevate Wellness offers 7 unique blends, each tailored to address specific set of health goals. Drips are also customizable.
What form of payments do you accept?
We currently acccept Cash, Credit card, and Venmo
Should I still take my oral vitamins on the day of my IV therapy?
The quality and absorption of your oral supplements varies greatly. It is fine to still take your oral supplements when receiving IV therapy, your body will only keep what it needs and eliminate the rest. Your IV therapy is going to be 100% available to your cells quickly so you can skip your oral supplements if you would like but its not necessary.
How Often Should I get IV Therapy?
A Gold standard would be to receive IV therapy monthly. However, it all depends on your health goals. You can review your goals with our nurse and establish an appropriate routine for you.
